Perrier’s Bounty
‘Perrier's Bounty’ is a soon-to-land crime thriller/comedy set in modern-day Dublin. Director Ian Fitzgibbon (‘A Film With Me In it’) pulls the strings, with Brendan Gleeson, Cillian Murphy and a dodgily accented Jim Broadbent bringing Mark Rowe’s script to life. Filming was completed in late January 2009, and the film premiered to grudging acclaim at the 2009 Toronto International Film Festival. The movie is slated for a late-year release.

ONDINE
As both actor and fisherman ‘Ondine’ has marked quite a haul for it’s lead, Colin Farrell. Awards, a new girlfriend, a bouncing baby-girl – like buses in Dublin, all three arrived at once following a long-spell out in the cold. Neil Jordan directs, and come March 12th we’ll see if the product matches the profit.
In brief – ‘Ondine’ is the story of an Irish fisherman who discovers a woman in his fishing net who he believes to be a mermaid.
